What is great about living in the South is that the boys can be outside all year long. Unfortunately, there is no snow, so they have to make do with rocks. Mr. C especially enjoys scrambling into trenches and climbing up out of them and jumping across the rock piles.
Even though Lexington is pretty flat, it is well located for other areas, including North Carolina. The boys took a trip to Chimney Rock and Mr. C was the fastest one up all the stairs! It is quite the view from the top and the boys spent all day running on trails, climbing up rocks and checking out the waterfall.
Mr. C even managed to find a frog. He tried to get the frog to take him for a ride, but the stubborn thing remained motionless.
On another trip J got to watch a train pass by overhead overhead and watch it go along the tracks from his vantage point. He continues to have a love for his trains and was super excited to see it up close.
He has also been working on his agility and wanted to show off his trail running skills by jumping over rocks, vaulting over stones and pushing off of trees. He is a monkey enjoying his urban playground.
To give them some added fun, Dada built them an obstacle course in the background that had a platform to jump on, a balance beam and a climbing wall. They boys thought it was great fun to work on the agility in the backyard and Neha is always happy to have company when she is outside.
