JT's excavating

JT wanted to go outside and dig this afternoon, so he recruited his favorite employee, Dada, to go with him. He had quite the time telling Dada what to do and how to go about doing it. His plan was to use the digger's hydraulics to build a trench and bury the pipeline. The impressive part is that he actually seemed to know what those things meant. 

Little Koba Construction

The boys discovered their tools last weekend and decided it was time to fix the house. They crawled under the table, they adjusted the rocking chair and they tightened the bed. The hammer was their favorite tool, so much of the fixing involved hitting things. But considering how much their Dada likes demolition, that's no surprise. 

Outdoor skills

When the weather is warmer and drier, the boys want to be outside. They did some excavating, construction and outdoor skill work. Dada showed them how to build a campfire and how to cook hot dogs and apples over the coals. They loved it!! Later, they went for a walk to look at waterfalls and play in the creek bed. 

Visit with Gammy and Duce

Gammy and Duce came out to visit for a week and spend time with the boys. Mr. C was sick so Gammy took extra special care of him. They stayed in a yurt that the boys loved going to play at. They took full advantage of the time they got to spend with their grandparents.
