Ice Festival

This year has already been more wintry than last and in order to take advantage of the weather, the boys went to an ice festival. They enjoyed experiencing the ice sculptures and other cool happenings. 

Birthday Party

JT has taken to gymnastics and very much enjoys it. Since he keeps growing so much (not sure where he picked that up) it's really helped him develop his ninja skills. He can run and flip like crazy now. 

Happy 5th birthday!

As hard as it is to imagine, JT is 5!!

He has turned out to be a very sweet, loving, helpful little guy. He loves to be outside playing and to spend time with his brother, cousins and Neha. 

This year he got to celebrate with his friends at school and loved being the center of attention. Here's to many more!!

Mr. C, human burrito

When it gets a little chilly outside nothing is better than snuggling up under a warm blanket. He got all cozied up and did his best to imitate a burrito, and a pretty cute one he made, too!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is always time for some fun; great food, time with friends and being with family. JT gets especially excited about this time of year with Thanksgiving, his birthday and Christmas all close together. He gets to celebrate for almost an entire month!

Snow day

It snowed a little bit overnight and there was just enough wet snow to have some snowball fun. Before heading out the boys played with some playdo. Then they got all dressed up for the weather and joined forces to attack Dada. After using up the available artillery of snow they went inside for some well earned hit cocoa. 

Thumbs up

JT is upbfor anything and he has the thumbs up to prove it. No matter what happens he is always ready to go. 

Superheroes

The boys have begun to be interested in superheroes and are super excited to show off their powers and their pajamas. 

Now, they can fight villains in their dreams. Mr. C especially loves to run around and "activate" his various powers to keep evil at bay. 

A walk in the woods

It has been a beautiful Fall, but you never know how long it will last. It was a great day for a walk to see a waterfall. MamiMami is here for a visit, too, so it's extra special. The boys even got to show off their warm winter hats. 

Playing in leaves

Fall at the house always means lots and lots of leaves. There is nothing better than raking up a big pile and jumping in. 

Canadian visit

The boys' Canadian uncle came down for a visit and regaled them with stories from the great, white North. Needless to say, they loved it!

Halloween prep

In preparation for Halloween the boys put on their costumes to try them out. As boys they are JT and Mr. C, but in their costumes they are Batboy and SuperC, Defenders of the People!

Pumpkin time

It's time to prepare for Halloween. The boys went pumpkin picking to choose the perfect pumpkin to carve. They each had their own vision for a jack-o-lantern and had fun helping Dada bring it to life. 

Baking with Nana Donna

When Nana Donna comes to visit, it's time to bake. And baking means chocolate gooiness.

JT had some private time with dada today. They went to a playground and walked on some trails. JT wanted to be the leader and asked his dada to follow him on the trails. In the words of JT, "let's go!"

C walrus

When the boys are behaving well and eat all their food they get an after dinner treat. After devouring his popsicle, Mr. C decided to try and impersonate a walrus; he did a pretty good job!

Pickin' apples

The fall means apples and apples mean picking them off the tree. So, with that plan in mind, the boys grabbed Mama and Dada, hopped in the car and went to the orchard. 

It was a great day to be outside. You have to look closely because you never know what you'll find in the trees. 

Fun outside

When the Sun is shining and the weather is nice, the boys go outside. For this adventure they went to a Children's garden where they got to run around and play with all sorts of fun things. 

Mr. C modeling

While spending some alone time with Mama, Mr.C put on an outfit that his Aunt Betsy made and that all the boys have worn. He likes to get dressed up and ham it up in front of the camera. 

Spray ground

Summer is drawing to a close and the boys wanted to do something fun before JT started school. They decided to go the spray ground and cool off on the warm weather. There was a lot of running, splashing and laughing, followed by ice cream and an early night. 

New School

JT is growing up! He has graduated from daycare and he started Pre-K this year at a new school! He is going to miss Pam and Joan, but he has been really excited to go to school everyday to learn new things and meet new people. He even has a new backpack and uniform. 

Mr. C is continuing with daycare, but will start to do some more schooling while there. Now that they aren't together all the time, both of them are really happy to see each other at the end of the day. They share stories about they did and still find ways to get into mischief together. 

Lake weekend

August was coming to an end and they boys wanted one last fun weekend before Julian starts his pre-K in September. With the weather so nice they wanted to be on the Lake, so off they went. They had a fun filled weekend of playing in the water, going on the boats, seeing their friends and enjoying the outdoors. 

Haircut time

The boys were starting to look a bit shaggy and it was time to clean up their act. They've gotten pretty good about sitting quietly and having their hair cut. They clean up pretty well!
