Kitty love

Gio took advantage of JT being asleep to get in some snuggle time. Gio takes his snuggles any chance he gets. 

Merry Christmas

Julian was very excited for Christmas this year. He went around wishing everyone a Merry Christmas for a couple weeks. He kept asking when Santa was coming. Since JT was into it this year, that meant that Mr. C also got into the Christmas spirit. When the big day finally arrived they had so much fun opening up their presents and playing with their Octonauts. 

Mami Mami visit

Gammy left and Mami Mami spent time with them. They baked and decorated cookies, crafted ginger bread houses and snuggled on the couch. It's starting to feel a lot like Christmas. 

Visit from Gammy

Gammy came out to visit with the boys and to celebrate JT's birthday. The boys love spending time with Gammy and their other grandmothers. Anyone who plays with them and snuggles with them is ok in their book. 

She helped take down Mr. C's crib and put in his big boy bed. He really likes the freedom of getting out when he pleases and going to see his brother. 

Happy Birthday, JT

JT celebrated his fourth birthday by spending the day with Mama, Gammy and Grandpa. He even went to his first movie (it didn't go too well but we went). Mr. C enjoyed playing with the new toys and the ballon monster. 

Happy Birthday weekend

JT turns 4 tomorrow and he wanted to send his 3's out with a bang. Gammy and MamiMami came to celebrate, he and Mr.C went to the playground and JT celebrated his birthday at the Nature Center. Mama organized another great outdoor themed party and everyone had fun learning about, and touching, animals, running on the huge tree house and having lots of yummy snacks. 

Family photos

Mama wanted some nice photos of the family, so she got everyone dressed up and went outside. Even with all the running, climbing and jumping, she got some good pictures. 

Canada visit

The boys went on a trip to see their Dyadyo Bib in Ottawa. The weather was a little too chilly for an outdoor playground, so they we to an indoor one instead. 

Happy Halloween

The boys had a great time on Halloween. JT went as a dinosaur and Mr. C was dressed very appropriately as a monster. They spent time with some friends before embarking on their trick or treating adventure getting pulled in the wagon by the ever helpful, Dada. 

Pumpkin carving

The boys took Mama and Dada to a pumpkin carving party over the weekend. They had a blast playing with other kids, eating good food and watching movies. They even found some time to watch Dada carve their pumpkin. 

Fall photos

Mama wanted to get some nice family photos, so everyone got dressed up and headed outside. Luckily, the weather was beautiful and sunny for the photo session. True to form, the boys ran around like crazy during the session, so hopefully there are some useable shots. They may be wild, but at least we all have fun. 

Mini performer

In addition to his impressive train skills, JT has discovered that he enjoys being on stage. Mama and Tita were singing which presented him with a perfect opportunity to join them. He didn't sing with them this time, but that might be in his future. 

Track master

JT continues to be a master track builder. Nothing makes him happier than playing with his trains and building tracks for them. He talks to them and concocts stories about what they're doing. This is all hard work, and sometimes he has to lie down on the job. 

Visiting Aunt Bets

The boys were missing their Aunt Bets, so they organized a trip to go see her. After visiting for a while they went to the playground to run around. On the way home, C was lucky enough to hitch a ride. 

Weekend shenanigans

Nana Donna has been coming the past few weekends to spend time with the boys and they really enjoy the extra attention. 

They have been baking, running around outside, playing in creeks and testing their climbing skills on the ladder. They love their weekend fun time!

Fair play

The boys took Mama, Dada and Nana Donna to the Tburg fair for a fun Saturday night. They went on the rides, played some games and watched a demolition derby where a truck went up in flames!

Out boating

JT has been asking to go on a boat all summer and he finally had a chance. Sally took him and Mama out for a nice ride on a hot day. 

He even got a chance to steer! I hope the other boaters were watching out with J Monkey behind the wheel. 

Little hikers

Day care was sick, so Dada was home with the boys. Since it was such a nice morning we all went for a little walk. The boys are turning into good hikers. They love being in the forest and walking through meadows. 

Cooking with Nana Donna

Nana Donna came for a couple of days to spend time with the boys. She was baking biscuits for strawberry shortcake and Mr. C decided to help. 

Gone fishing

The boys wanted to go to the Lake in order to relax on the weekend. JT decided to work on his casting to try catching some fish. He didn't manage to get any, but he had a good time trying. 

Green Lakes

The boys wanted to go to a beach, so they took Mama and Dada to Green Lakes park. 

They got to enjoy all their favorite things; sun, sand, water, playgrounds and ice cream. 

Climbing around

The boys had a lot of pent up energy (they always have a lot of energy) and they needed to run around, so they took Mama and Dada to a local children's garden for some fun.

They worked on improving all the typical boy skills; running, climbing, swinging, jumping, throwing and mud slinging. They even got Dada to join them in climbing a tree to get a better view. 

More Lake fun

The boys wanted to go to the Lake to enjoy the weather and spend time with the Saids. The sun was shining, the air was warm and the water was cold. But that didn't seem to bother them much. 

Lawn mowing

Mr. C got a lawn mower for his birthday and he and his brother love to push it around and 'help' Dada mow. This is good training so in a few years they can put their skills to actual use. 

Gym time

Mama and Dada were working out, so JT thought he would join in. He was really into lifting Dumbbells, but we have to work on his form.
