Very sophisticated!
I was inspired to create a story in which my sons, JT and Mr. C, would be the heroes. In it, they explore the world around them, face new challenges and meet new friends. As they grow and have new experiences their story will get more exciting. Together, they will have many adventures...

Incognito
'Sshh, you don't see me and you don't know me. I am in hiding.' Mr. Christian is trying out a new disguise for when he wants to observe without being recognized. He has heard that some manicured facial hair is a perfect solution to his problem do he decided to try it out.

Buds
JT had a friend over to visit and they had a lot of fun playing, splashing and talking together. When you're tiny it is nice to spend time with someone else who understands you.

Lumberjack
JT was visiting friends today and he decided he would stack some split firewood. He and some other youngsters thought they would help by moving one pile of wood to another. This skill will come in handy when his Dada starts stacking his wood

Pants optional
Sometimes wearing pants just get in the way. When that happens the best thing to do is just chuck 'em. Be free. Enjoy the freedom that only a Tshirt and a diaper can provide.
Well balanced
Gammy came for a visit in the spring and took JT to the gymnastics center, the perfect place for a monkey. He got to bounce around, jump on things and work on his balancing act.
Playing in the snow
What is this soft fluffy stuff? And why is it cold? Oh, who cares; it's slippery and you can play on it. Ok, I'm in. Let's go sledding.
Monkey turns One
It was quite a first year for JT. So, he celebrated in style. He got to party with his parents, his Uncle, his Great Grandparents and some close friends. Here's to many more!
Visiting Ottowa
In January JT and his parents braved the Northern elements to visit JT's great uncle. They hit it off right away and were quick friends. JT has very discriminating tastes and when he likes someone they are his pals for life. He had a great visit and can't wait to go back, even if it did end with bruised head.
Cousin love
JT spent time today with his cousins running around like a crazy boy. He loves seeing his cousins and playing with them. They may get rowdy and upset with one another, but he thinks they are his siblings and he looks up to them and wants to be just like them. It will be very interesting to see what happens when Mr. Christian is old enough to join the fray. As you can see from the security guard in the background these three are troublemakers who clearly need to be monitored.

Sweet treat
JT takes after his Dusi, he loves corn on the cob. He likes nothing better than gnawing on the cob and getting every last kernel. He definitely puts his chompers to good use.
Going for a ride
JT went to the park had a new thrill; he went for a ride on the carousel! He thoroughly enjoyed himself bobbing up and down on the horse. He also liked that he was faster than his cousins and they weren't able to catch up to him on the ride at all! He could not get enough and kept trying to go back for more.
His other excitement for the week was swimming in the pool. JT loves water and getting wet. He played with the noodles and chased the twins all over the pool. Of course it is always easier when you have your own boat to take you all over the place. Thank you Dada.
Mr. Christian is turning into a big boy and was able to spend some time on the deck soaking up some rays. Hey, if it works for plants why not babies?

Canadian Roots
JT was showing support for his Canadian heritage today. He felt like showing everyone that even though he lives in the States he remembers all his family in Canada. Now that Mama has her passport he is looking forward to his next trip to the Great White North, barring that, at least London or Ottawa.
He was also having fun with his cousin, ChaCha, running around the park chasing seagulls. They also sat on the bench looking at all the boats on the lake.
Hola MamaMama
MamaMama came to stay with Mama and Dada and help with JT and Christian. Christian is especially happy that she is here and is able to work her magic on him to get his reflux under control. He is in a lot of discomfort and anyone that is able to soothe him is going to make Mama very happy.
JT continues to be a fun loving lite character. He and his best friend, Neha, spend a lot of time together running around the house and climbing on things. Occasionally, they even relax together to gather their energy for the next foray.
Picnic
Today, the family got together with the cousins for some dinner at the Park. JT loves spending time with his cousins; running, chasing and wrestling. At the end of some rough housing it is time to recharge and get some food. What better way to spend time together than breaking bread? After that they can resume breaking heads.

One month old
Christian is 1 month old now. It is hard to believe that his first month is behind us, the time seemed to fly by. Which is funny since he has been having a lot of reflux and he is fussy with the crying and lack of sleep that goes along with it. It could be that the time flew by since his parents are sleepwalking most of the time.
JT has been enjoying being an older brother and even helps out, especially with the binky. Since he loves his so much he feels that Christian should love it, too. Christian continues to eat a lot, typical Koba, and he is over 10 pounds now and going strong. Things are getting pretty interesting in the Koba house these days.
