Hauling

A couple weeks ago JT discovered the way of the shovel. Now, he has found it's companion, wheelbarrow. He was visiting friends and took to the apparatus immediately; he comes by in naturally! He was hauling rocks all over the place and loving every minute of it. If he keeps up this pace he will be constructing sheds in no time!

2 weeks old

Christian is over 2 weeks old now and continues to grow every day. He has a voracious appetite and so far he is measuring bigger than his brother at the same age. Things are going to be fun if he continues to grow like this.

JT is living up to his moniker as a monkey, he has decided that sitting on the couch is too mundane for him and lacked excitement, so he climbed on top of the couch. There, much better.

JT has been doing some hiking and has decided he needs his own outback bush whacking hat. He liked his Dada's so much he confiscated it. He looks pretty good, too.

Christian had his first bath. He is not sure how much he likes water.

The way of the shovel

In Japan young samurai boys were taught Bushido, or the way of the warrior, as well as the way of the sword. In the Koba house we teach the way of the shovel. Passed down from generation to generation young Koba's are taught how to wield a shovel and use it for good. JT is learning such skills now. Soon, he will be able to use a real shovel and help with the digging and filling of holes.

Cycle rally

JT partied today with his cousin and buddy, Adrian. They hopped on their bike and went for a wild ride in the driveway. It was pretty tough riding over all the rocks and off roading on the grass was not much better. They had to hang on tight and steer straight to avoid all the obstacles...and the dog.

They also started a rock moving business specializing in bulldozers. They were clearing rocks to make room for something big. They also moved small stones out of the way in the driveway to clear a space for buildings. If you are looking to get some work done, these are the guys to call.

Meeting the family

Since his entrance, Christian has been busy meeting all the family. For such a little guy, he is very popular. Everyone wants to see him and say 'hello'.

He also met his cousins for the first time when he was in the Hospital. They came especially to meet their smallest relative. He would have have enjoyed the visit more but he fell asleep (it had nothing to do with the company, he was just tired)

The Littlest Koba

JT is now officially a BIG brother. This means that he has a lot of responsibility; he has to share his Mama and Dada, he has to look out for an protect his little brother and he has to show him the ropes. It is going to be tough for a monkey to handle, but JT will be up for the task.

Christian Borys Koba was born today at 8:09 AM weighing 8 pounds 6 ounces and measuring 20 inches. He was welcomed to this world in style; his MamiMami, Grandpa, Dusi, Gammy and Tia were all here!!

Now it is time to let the fun and games begin!

4th of July

JT has been having a blast with his Dusi and Gammy and MamiMami coming to visit.  He has gone for a hike, spent time at the Lake, gone on the boat and gone for a swim.

JT deserves his down time. He plays hard and doing all that work means that he earns his fun time. And boy, does he have fun! As social as he is means that there is always either someone to party with or chill with. And his cousins are his favorite partners in crime.
