Snuggling with Mama

Mama needed some rest for New Years and decided to take a nap on the couch. JT wanted to snuggle and climbed on the couch with her. After rolling around for a bit he finally got comfortable and fell asleep. They will wake up and be ready to party! 

Going for a ride

JT and Mr. C went for a ride at the store together for the first time. They had a good time sitting next to each other and cruising up and down the aisles. 

Merry Christmas

The boys had a great Christmas opening presents, spending time with the family and playing. The were in full force throwing paper around and squealing with delight.

JT also worked on his engineering skills. After Dada struggled to understand the directions and finally put it together he raced his train around and around. 

The pack

Neha has accepted Mr. C into her pack. As the self designated sitter, she has taken it upon herself to keep an eye on the boys. She feels it is her duty to make sure they behave, play nicely together and listen to their concerns. 

Decorating cookies

Nana Donna and the twins came over to bake some cookies for Christmas. In order to decorate them efficiently they decided to form an assembly line. They had quite the system for frosting and sprinkles. Luckily, there was some supervision, or who knows what kind of a mess they might have made. 

Little people antics

The boys have been up to plenty of fun these days. 

JT has decided that snow is not too bad, after all. A little cold, but he can bundle himself up and still enjoy it. 

Mr. C has determined that his mama is his favorite person. He loves her so much  that he tries to eat her. Nothing is as sweet as baby kisses. 

Happy Holidays

JT has been getting into the Christmas spirit this year. He is seeing his cousins and spending time working on his gingerbread house. 

He is starting to enjoy the construction process. 

Christmas Spirit

Over the weekend JT and Mr. C took their parents to get a tree. It was pretty cold out and doing all that walking to find the right one took its toll. Luckily, the tree looked good in the end. 

The two boys snuggled up together to stay warm and keep each other company in the spirit of this time of year. 

Making friends

JT seems to make friends no matter where he goes. He accompanied Mama on a visit and promptly became friends with her two daughters. 

He will do anything for a photo opportunity!

Even Mr. C likes to try new things. He has discovered that he loves balloons!!

Happy Birthday JT, love Neha

In honor of JT's birthday, Neha was
especially playful and set up shop where she knew he would be. 

Happy Birthday, JT!!

JT's second birthday was today and it was a plane, train and truck theme. Mama, Dada and MamiMami decorated the house in a suitable theme and then the party commenced!!

JT had a blast at his party playing with all his friends and jumping on balloons. 

Even Mr. C had fun with all his family and decided that his Aunt was perfect to snuggle up with and take a nap. 

As always, JT tracked down his grandpa and made sure to play with him during his party. 

Bath time

It feels great being clean after bath time. Mr. C is all fresh and clean and so happy to be wrapped up in his towel. 

I love my big brother!

Mr. C woke up from his nap to his brother playing with him. JT loves his little brother and likes to make sure is ok (he just doesn't want anyone to know). Mr. C loves seeing his brother and looks for him everywhere. Those 2 are going to be quite something's as they grow older. 

Reading with Mama

The boys have been working on their vocabulary by reading with Mama. This is a great way to relax at the end if a hard day in daycare. 

I can roll over

Mr. C has learned a new skill; he can now roll over all by himself. He was playing on his stomach, then decided he would rather be on the other side, so he just decided to do it. He's getting pretty tough. 

Walking the Plantations

Dada's Uncle came down to visit the family and since the weather was so nice everyone decided to go for a walk. Mr. C was content to sleep in his stroller and be pushed around, while JT preferred to be carried. After a little while JT wanted to walk on his own and explore his surroundings. There was a lot to see and do and he tried to do it all. Even Mr. C got into the action by switching to a front carrier so he could get a better view. 

Grandpa and Mimi

The boys went to visit their Grandpa Rocco and Mimi Traudel this afternoon. JT was his usual monkey self; making himself right at home climbing on the chairs, getting into everything and sitting on any available laps. 

Mr. C just likes to be held. And he was more than happy to be held by Mimi. He can be quite the snuggle bug. 

Nana Donna to the rescue

It was a rough week this week and everyone was tired and not feeling well. Nana Donna took pity on the Koba Clan and came down for a visit. She helped Mama get caught up on chores and watched Mr. C. Thanks to her, everyone was feeling better by the end of the weekend. 

4 months old

Mr. C is 4 months old now! He still may not be sleeping great, but he is pretty cute. He continues to grow and he loves to party, especially with his brother. He is looking forward to many more months of play. 

He had his check-up and he comes in at 16 pounds and be is in the 92 percentile for height. It appears that he will be tall like the rest of the family, and the blue eyes are here to stay!

Watering...the baby?

JT was having himself a grand time putting his cup on Mr. C's head. Every time it fell off he would laugh and put it back on. Mr. C didn't even seem to mind. He may be thinking that things are going to get very interesting with his older brother as he gets bigger...

I'm a tiger

Mr. C got in touch with his inner feline when he donned his tiger outfit. He even roared (sort of) for good measure. Gio was very proud that he has trained him so well. If only the Monkey would have been that easy he may not have gone down the path of the primate. At least he didn't become a dog thought the Siamese. 

Out for a stroll

Mama took Mr. C for a walk and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. Of course, it is hard not to enjoy oneself when there is beautiful weather outside and you are being being carried around. Mr. C thinks he could get used to this!

Happy Halloween

The boys went out trick or treating this evening for the first time! JT was not sure how he felt with all the people dressed up, but he finally warmed up going door to door when Mama was with him. Mr. C was in his devil outfit, very fitting since he is quite devilish. They did have fun spending time with their cousins and the rest of the family. And JT for one will enjoy the goodies tomorrow (as will Mama and Dada). 

When Monkey's are sick

When JT is sick he likes to snuggle. His Grandpa then comes down to spend some time with him and to try and help him feel better. Nothing is so consoling as a good cuddle session with the ones you love. 

Wanted dead or alive

JT got his cowboy outfit early so he thought he would try it on. He loves his awesome new Western boots because they are just like Dada's! He even has a hat to set off the whole thing. He is one stylish little dude. 

Dreaming about trucks

JT is a true boy, he loves trucks, trains, tractors and boats. He loves them so much that he cannot go anywhere without his trucks. He even falls asleep with his truck. He is dreaming of playing with them and all the things that trucks that can do. He is not much different from bigger boys who also like to play with bigger toys. 

Exersaucer

Mr. C discovered a whole new world today, the exersaucer. He can now stand in it, spin around and play with the toys on top. He can also converse with his brother and the dog when they come over to see him. 

Fun on the farm

JT took Mama and Dada to go play at the farm, the bounce house farm, that is. He ran around the bounce house jumping on, and over, the animals and other air filled obstacles. It was a good way to release some energy on a rainy day. 

All Smiles

JT and Mr. C spent the day with Dada while Mama had to work. Unfortunately, the weather was not very nice outside, so they stayed in to play and watch trains. Mr. C was all smiles when he got to have some alone time with Dada. 

Brother love

Mr. Christian had a busy day, he went to Wegmans for the big shop and then had a photo shoot. 

Wegmans was pretty busy so he decided the best plan would be to sleep for half the time. This way he could avoid seeing too many people in one place. 

In the afternoon the boys went to the park for some photos. Mr. Christian was a good boy and sat nicely with Mama, but JT was in full Monkey form hiking the trails and doing everything he could to be the wrench in the plan. He had to bring his trucks in order to feel prepared and when he saw the water and the leaves he had too many important things to do than sit still. 

After coming home he was nice enough to sit with his brother and keep him company. 

MamaMama to the rescue

MamaMama is in her last week with the Great Grandkids. She has helped to keep them on schedule and to look after Mr. Christian. Mr. Christian has enjoyed his time with her and wanted to spend the afternoon with her so Dada took him home during lunch. As soon as they saw each other they both had big grins. He practically jumped out of the car seat to see her.
